- → The scouting trip is more valuable than any research

Checklist- → Have I chosen the region?

Phase 04: Prepare
6–3 months before the move- → Find short-term accommodation in Panama

- → Take out health insurance
- → Sort finances: international account, transfer route, budget
- → Start a Spanish course

First 3 months- → Don't commit long-term immediately — use short-term accommodation

- → Find a nearby doctor and pharmacy
- → Start building community

From month 4+- → Find and move into a long-term apartment
- → Complete the visa process
