In Boquete gibt es eine Grundversorgung. Für grössere Eingriffe oder Spezialisten fährt man nach David (30 Minuten) oder Panama City. In abgelegenen Regionen ist die Versorgung eingeschränkt — das muss bei der Regionswahl bedacht werden.
